1. Eft in general
EFT – “Emotional Freedom Techniques” by Gary Graig used to be a very hyped technique that promised a quick and easy solution to trauma. All you actually had to do was tap a certain sequence of meridians/energy points on the body and move into the disturbing situations.
Many people have little success with this technique. Hours or days of practicing hardly brought the promised success and the technique was forgotten in disappointment.
2. The technique
This technique is probably perfect for resolving traumatic energies and healing traumatic memories. It may simply have been poorly explained and disseminated.
Most users will have simply tapped on the body or the material plane. This may help some people, perhaps those who are more haptically and synesthetically connected.
The exercise becomes much more effective when you “tap” into the different spatial levels, or even into the more non-physical intermediate levels or supraspace, with the right spin and the correct strength. It may be difficult to imagine at first, but with a little practice, instruction, or contemplation, you can learn the technique and hopefully achieve quick results. The boundaries between the perceptible physical and non-physical (they are actually also physical, but not yet tangible or measurable by science) and the very subtle levels can be explored. You have to knock into all accessible levels and corners with the right force (over a certain required range of momentum or degree of momentum).
There are already some therapists who promise healing for a lot of money through external treatment and preservation or supposed removal of trauma residues. However, treatment by oneself is much more sustainable, fair, and healing!
Perhaps experts will perfect the process even further; in particular, the suppressed dark toxins can certainly be cleansed using refined techniques and one’s own consciousness.
Tapping itself is not difficult: there are several points on the hand, head, and upper body that can be easily tapped with the index and middle fingers together. It does not matter which side of the hand is used, but ideally, one should tap on the opposite side. The pressure should be comfortable but clearly noticeable.
My own variation has proven to be practical for quickly resolving trauma.
You begin the exercise by finding a short sentence that, together with a feeling, sums up the traumatic event. This combination of a title and the extremely disturbing feeling and everything associated with it is used repeatedly during the exercise. The physical taps on the little-known energy points, which can be used like rails and dissolve stored memories in waves when tapped, are quickly done. However, you will be conscious of the trauma while doing this, so perhaps prepare yourself for this or, if you know you react strongly, seek familiar help.
Start with the heart point and the edge of the hand to get in the right frame of mind: tap each of these points 10-15 times and use your combination of words to recall the trauma as best you can with each tap. You can think of the exercise as a kind of bleaching process for the trauma: you need to bring the memory back as consciously as possible for a short time and then press the delete button.
Starting with the eyebrow point, tap each of the other points 10-15 times, always with the memory and the corresponding feelings associated with the painful experience.
These are the points; you can also find them in the illustration.

Preparation:
- Edge of the hand (karate chop point) – the outer edge of the hand below the little finger.
- Heart point – between the collarbone and the nipple, in the upper third.
Main tapping procedure:
- Eyebrow – at the inner end of the eyebrow, near the nose.
- Side of the eye – on the bone next to the outer corner of the eye.
- Under the eye – directly on the bone below the eye.
- Under the nose – in the area between the nose and upper lip.
- Chin point – in the small depression between the lower lip and chin.
- Collarbone – just below the collarbone, to the side of the sternum.
- Collarbone – on the middle of the collarbone.
- Under the arm – about 10 cm below the armpit, on the side of the upper body.
- Crown of the head – gently tap the highest point of the head with your fingertips or with the flat of your hand.
For many people, dark ring-like shadows emerge from the body after the last point or during the exercise. These objects, if they can be perceived, sometimes represent non-physical blockages or densifications caused by repression, which store memories in the body.
Most of these can be resolved with a skillful movement of the mind: a kind of grabbing or squeezing and pushing through with the mind dissolves these capsules. The movement must be performed simultaneously, and one of the two movements must be performed more strongly or with a harder swing. It is similar to the description of releasing supraphyical blockages; perhaps the description there will help you if you cannot immediately relate to this.
Hopefully, you have made a very good leap after performing the exercise. Sometimes other sequences of the trauma appear, sometimes you have to retrieve repressed parts and “bleach” them.
Perhaps experts are still perfecting the process, especially the repressed dark slags and blockages can certainly be cleansed with refined techniques using one’s own consciousness.
Of course, there are exceptions and variations, but every expert should be able to resolve them. Sometimes the residues are hidden and must be brought out in order to be resolved, sometimes they are misplaced, and sometimes others intrude during the exercise. In such cases, one should be persistent and fight for one’s right to rapid trauma healing.
Also consider astral geometric objects such as half spheres/bowls or brush-like spots that shift your center. You simply have to find them and then remove them, otherwise you will not be properly anchored in your own body. Like many other mental and physical functions, the tapping method will then no longer work optimally.
3. Shut down triggers – detriggering
With a little skill or guidance, these key stimuli can also be resolved: There are various ways to do this, but basically it is sufficient to go through the triggers about 6-7 times in your mind: These should be visualized particularly vividly or with intense effort. After one run-through, the switch is then released. There are, of course, variations, but once you understand the basic principles, not much else can go wrong.
Good luck with it, God and Jesus will help, and I am grateful to God for giving us this knowledge and the ability to become healthy again!
If you get stuck, please turn to God and his helpers—they always listen and will pass on your questions. There is a huge church network and nothing is hidden, not even your requests for higher support.
